Currently Let's encrypt certificates are supported but have to be updated every 90 ninety days manually. It would be great if Mendix would integrate the Let's encrypt renewal process in the framework. Results are better security and less administrative work.
Good idea which we will implement in the future, but it's not yet planned on the roadmap due to other priorities.
