Dynamic Tooltips for buttons if possible?

Is it possible to add dynamic tooltips? Kinda like how captions are dynamic and you can set caption based on the object values. I’ve used workarounds before but it’d be nice to have something more convenient within the edit action. I think it’d be a really nice addition.
