More often than not we have requirements to import data from an excel spreadsheet. This are often long and tidious for which we have to individually create attributes could be 100s. A simple import from excel which also creates all the attributes would be great help especially when kick starting a project. A lot of the first mendix app are excel vba conversions and something like this would help anyone kick start a mendix project with ease. This import should not only create new attribute but also import the database with in it at the same time.
A lot of other products similar to mendix are doing it already, it just seems like a very manual option download two app store modules and 10s of step to import excel data when it could be done with one simple upload.
