speedup work when renaming (F2) item in project explorer

In Windows explorer, when renaming a directory, the rename happens inline.

In Mendix project explorer, when renaming an item, the rename shows a popup, centered on screen, with ok and cancel buttons. This mehod is more time-consuming.

problem is, the popup is showing in the middle of the screen. When i'm focussing on the project explorer and hit F2 i have to shift focus to the middle of the screen. Focusschifting distracts.

You can use F2 to open the prompt, the enter and escape keys to close these prompts, and arrows to move between items. I feel like this is just as fast as inline renaming.
