Because the Mendix SDK is available it should be possible to create a modeler from scratch, why not creating a open source modeler? or open source the web modeler? :)
Absolutely! Open Source is the future. Why not start today?
I vote to open the current Desktop modeler. Let people create extensions and plugins for it.
Just for fun or with some actual goals to improve the experience compared to the modeler provided by MX?
