As a project gets bigger and bigger, Studio Pro performance deteriorates (simply saving a microflow becomes significantly slower).
It would be great to have a comprehensive list of performance factors.
Some things are evident – for example, minimizing the number of tabs that you have open. Others, not so much – for example, a couple of years ago, there was an issue involving slow performance due to a high number of Excluded Documents in the project. I’m still not sure on whether this still a performance factor with the newer releases.
Some factors might even affect our project structure – for example, does performance deteriorate if we have a high number of modules? If so, we may choose to design our modules a little differently and decrease the number of modules.
Knowing these factors will help us decide on some development standards.
Thanks,
Cris
