It would be very helpful if the new Mendix Studio Pro versions ask where to create the app directory.
Thanks for the input! Currently you can already implicitly change the default app directory by choosing the directory you want when creating the app. When you then create a new app afterwards it will use that directory as your default.
We do have plans to make this more explicit in the future.

When I download a project using one of the newer versions, it places the local contents in “My Documents” and this is synchronised to OneDrive. I don’t want the working project to be on OneDrive
