When I look at the history in VersionControl in Mendix studio Pro, I can see which Microflow, Entity, etc. has been modified, but I can't see how it was modified. (I don't know what changes were made.)
In this situation, it is impossible to conduct a review, and it is impossible to provide evidence to present to the customer. (We can't present the difference as "this is the difference")
In this situation, we cannot respond to the SI, and the system department gives NG to the adoption of Mendix.
We would like to see a function that outputs detailed change differences in the specified Git revision.
Also, considering integration with CI, we would like the above data to be able to be output via CUI.
If this cannot be achieved, full-scale promotion of Mendix use will not proceed. (It is not possible to make proposals for large-scale SI projects.)
This would be a great addition to Mx version control! Voted!
Years ago (2017?) there was a tool that was able to provide some sort of detailed diff between two revisions, but I have seen no recent updates anymore: https://mftool.github.io/ / https://forum.mendix.com/link/questions/86902
This functionality is missing for years, see related forum posts/ideas:
