“ merge feature branch “ is disabled for no good reason when you’re already in a branch. We develop in Main Line and we also use a release branch where we periodically merge changes from Main Line. When we want to simply advance the release branch to the current Main Line we have to resort to Advanced Merge which is quite inconvenient. I think this limitation is artificial and should be removed.
