At the moment (9.24.3), renaming an entity / attribute in the domain model “breaks” the mappings defined in Message definitions, and leads to a message “The mapping does not align with the underlying schema anymore...”. It’s possible to quick-fix by clicking on “Resolve by updating from schema”, but the result is that the mapping is simply removed.
My suggestion is that the mapping should be updated with the new name
