Currently in studio pro we don’t have any option to search a file by its type.
I suggest we can have this option (similar to Eclipse IDE) where user can search a file by its type.

Do you perhaps mean (need) CTRL+Shift+F > Search for ‘Documents’ and then Document type?
we currently do this by pre-pending certain files with names.
ctrl+g to ‘goto’
then:
pg_* = a page
pu_* = popup
ACT_* = Action usually microflow or nanoflow
ENU_* = enumeration
etc…
not sure if this helps, but might make your life easier until this is implemented
