Add a reference selector when selecting association in Connector pane

When I drag & drop an attribute of an associated entity onto a page, I rarely want to change the value of the associated object. In 99% of the cases I want to select the reference from my main object to the associated object.

Therefor, a reference selector would be way more useful than a text box

 

Currently

When I drag and drop the Entity_Language/Language.Code onto my page...

 

...a text box is added

 

Desired behaviour

I drag&drop the same attribute ,but now it results in a reference selector
