This is an occasional problem that occurs relatively frequently that unexpected black block display of Pop-up box of Studio Pro 10. It will only exist on mac computers with the parallel virtual machine installed.

  • Fix #1 (Parallels):Parallels ► Configure ► Hardware → Graphics → set Best for compatibility (or DirectX 10). Restart the VM.

  • Fix #2 (Windows):Settings ► System → Display → Graphics → Default graphics settings → turn OFF Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling.

  • Fix #3 (App preference):Settings ► System → Display → Graphics → add Modeler.exe (Studio Pro) → Options → choose Power saving.

  • Fix #4 (force software rendering):(Reversible) Set WPF to software rendering, then reboot.DisableHWAcceleration = 1 at HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Avalon.Graphics.

  • Housekeeping:Update Parallels Tools, give the VM ≥1 GB video memory, and keep Windows scale at 100–150%.
