I use quite a few modules from the app store, many of which only contain English texts.
Because I am developing for dutch customers, many of my apps have default language set to dutch. In order to make optimal use of the components provided by the app store modules, I tend to translate any missing texts from those modules.
Whenever I update such an app store module to its latest version, I lose all my translations and need to recreate them.
It would be very helpful if translations, once made, are retained whenever a module is updated.

You could also send the module back to the creator of the module after translating. This way it will be incorporated in the next version available to all.
