Lots of modules contain layouts, so implementing them is a matter of linking those layouts to a parent layout or in the case of popup layouts not doing anything at all.
However when you add a page and need to select a layout you can easily select a popup layout from such a module and that I don't want.
So would it be possible to mark a layout as private to a module and then only be used from within that module?
Please add also the option to make a layout the default choice for a new/create page so we don’t have to reselect it every time.
This will be helpful to make Mendix a more modulair programming platform.
Great idea, but I see no reason why it should not be extended to all elements e.g. : pages, microflows, snippets etc.
