Rapid Developer training-version for Mendix Studio Pro

Hi, For the Rapid Developer training, the training doc suggests to download and install Mendix Studio Pro 8.12.1 (build 3458) but I noticed that the latest released version is – 8.16.0 (build 9638). Does the Mendix Studio work with old version of Studio Pro? I believe there is no option to choose a specific version for the Mendix Studio. Is it ok to use the latest studio pro version for this training? Please suggest.

It is best to use the suggested version because the training will be based on that. Mendix Studio can support a wide range of Mendix versions. Currently 8.7 and up is supported by Mendix Studio.
