Document template with table of contents

Hi all, We are generating a document with the Mendix document template. The total document is about 20 – 25 pages. Our client requested if it's possible to add a table of contents. However, the individual pages differ in length and are not always the same size. Is there a way to do this? I was thinking about creating all the pages seperately, then count the pages, and then use the page count as input for a Table of contents object.  However, we prefer to have everything in one document template.

This is not possible natively with document templates. However, the underlying technology that Mendix uses does have support for this. Probably you need to do some java magic to access and change the generated templates
