Not able to log into Mendix Studio Pro - You are currently offline message

When starting Studio Pro 9.3 from Windows 10, I get the Studio Pro sign in ‘popup’ However, instead of being able to put in my credentials, I get the message: You are currently offline We can’t log you in because you are not connected to the internet. When you’re back online hit the “Try again” button below. Or continue and work offline. (see screenshot below) The logfile contains the following: 2021-07-07 13:41:50.5839 INFO Mendix.Modeler.MainWindow.Program Starting Mendix Studio Pro 9.3.0.22930. 2021-07-07 13:41:59.1244 INFO Mendix.Modeler.UserManagement.AuthenticationTokensRefresher Access token could not be automatically refreshed because no refresh token is available 2021-07-07 13:41:59.1488 INFO Mendix.Modeler.MainWindow.Program Mendix Studio Pro has successfully started. 2021-07-07 13:42:00.3292 WARN Mendix.Modeler.Rest.RestClient Request https://login.mendix.com/.well-known/openid-configuration returned status code 0. 2021-07-07 13:42:00.3292 INFO Mendix.Modeler.UserManagement.SsoContextCreator CreateContext. StatusCode = 0. going offline.   Clearly, I am online, writing this message on the forum. I can also log in without issues through the browser on: https://sprintr.home.mendix.com/link/myapps But I cannot get into studio pro :( I tried the following: - I’ve installed version 9.3 and later 9.2 and even 8.18 but all give me the same message. - I’ve restarted the whole computer without resolve. - Disabled the firewall completely, to make sure the issue is not in that part. - Set up a VPN with Cyberghost with the hope that would resolve the issue, but unfortunately, nothing helps. Does anyone have an idea how to solve this? The only option the pop-up gives me is changing the proxy settings. But I have no clue what I am supposed to change there. Everything else works fine. Note: I am a new user, and trying to work with Studio Pro for the first time. All help is very much appreciated!

Are you running on a corporate or educational network? It could be that login.mendix.com is blocked by your network provider. Another suggestion could be to disable any proxys, firewalls, or filtering temporarily to see if that fixes the problem. Finally, could you try tethering your computer to your phone’s internet connection and see if that works?

I had a quite similar problem and got the following advice, which worked for me:

The problem seems to be related to network configuration.

Please check your Environment Variables (Windows configuration) and check if there are variables named "HTTP_proxy" and "HTTPS_proxy" - if they exist then disable them, restart the Studio Pro and try signing-in again.
