There is a new merge algorithm which we can use in MX9 and merges from MX8 versions seem to process fine, but is it considered a valid work method to merge changes from MX8 to MX9, or is this not really supported? I remember that with earlier versions I couldn't merge between Mendix versions, so I'm curious what the guarantees are.
