Is it possible to go back to an older version of Mendix on the Mainline?

I updated in MxStudio (web version) by accident the Mx version on the mainline (9.18.3 to 9.20) . By doing this update it was automatically committed by MxStudio. But this version (9.20) is not the LTS version.   Is it possible to go back on the mainline to that older version (9.18.3)?

Hi Mark,

I don't have any experience with this specific case myself, but I did handle comparable scenarios via SVN before. You might want to have a look at the link below (or a comparable article for SmartSVN). As Studio Pro is still open when you try to revert the commit, I assume that it is having a hard time reverting the version upgrade. I did use this to promote different revisions as main/trunk, so, therefore, I feel like this could work for you as well.

Personally, I would also be interested to know if this operation will actually break Studio or Sprintr. I don't think so, but it could be helpful to ask this to Mendix support directly.

In Studio Pro you can go to:

Version control > Reverse merge changes > Select the revision that you want to undo
