Control-click with macOS (10.11) doesnt produce pop-up menu for MyFirstModule

Apologies for the newbie question. I am working through the Crash Course on my MacBookPro. I'm on page https://academy.mendix.com/link/modules/312/lectures/2358/3.3.1-Create-Your-First-App I have the app open in StudioPro where it says to right-click on MyFirstModule in the AppExplorer. On the Mac, right click is supposed to be control-click. When I do a control-click, nothing happens. Just in case, I also tried option-click and command-click, but those don't work either. So I'm stuck at this point in the tutorial. My first suspicion is that this is a bug in the newest version (10.11 beta) of Studio Pro for macOS, but it's probably user error (me). I noticed that this reporting page only goes up to version 10.6 in the pulldown menu.... Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Solved - right click is command-option. not control-click.
