TortoiseSVN version 1.9.4 was released in april 2016. In an article on the Mendix Forum (?) I came accross it said: "choose version 1.6" but I can't find it anymore... Quick search in the Docs found this: https://world.mendix.com/display/refguide6/System+Requirements https://community.mendix.com/link/questions/14672 If you want to use TortoiseSVN in combination with the Modeler, download the latest version 1.7.x from the Sourceforge page. But the TortoiseSVN homepage is https://tortoisesvn.net and anyway, that question is about the Mendix Modeler 5.21.1
