Identifying Project from MDA Package

0
A bit of a strange question, I have a Windows server that is hosting a Mendix App on-premise. I have access to the MDA packages and several folders with various versions of the project itself. The problem is that there is no version control, so I have no idea which project is the latest one. Is there any way to work backwards from the MDA file to do this? I have extracted the MDAs and had a look at the contents but there does not seem to be a definitive way of knowing this.

If you create an MDA the filename normally contains the version number. To get the latest one you have to open the modeller, retrieve the latest model and build the MDA.

If the project is not a Team server project, there will be no version control and no version number appended to the mda files :(

The easiest way to identify the latest version is by the date/timestamp on the windows file, or failing that, the latest one is normally the biggest one - projects always seem to get larger over time !
