Hi Gabriela,

Currently, the Mendix modeler only runs on Windows.  My colleagues who have Mac computer use Parallels (https://www.parallels.com/) and that works for them.

There is also a web-based modeler which has arrived recently and is getting more features. https://docs.mendix.com/releasenotes/web-modeler/

If it is only about "Downloading" it should work. But I guess you want to execute it. This is not working.

You could run Windows in a virtual Machine like virtualbox. There is also a seemless mode to show the modeler window inside your mac desktop. But I don't know anything about the performance.

Have a look at https://forum.mendix.com/link/questions/3729. I use Parallels and it use to run fine but last weeks it keeps crashing. I am not sure Parallels is causing the crashes. You can give Virtual Box a try. My experience is that it not performing as good as Parallels but it is free. Parallels integrates better into OSX by the way. Hi, any updates on this topic,

Last may I did the Mendix Rapid Development Classroom training and they said at the end of the year there would be an mac modeler, i'm curious of that's still the plan. And are there in any way maybe some beta builds that could be tested by the community?

Does this also apply to version 7.13 where a separate program is needed to run Modeler?
