This functionality would be a low priority - Nice to have functionality. This is to be able to record a action directly when inside a TC. Many a times it becomes a task to record a number of steps then extract. If there was a way to decide whether the recorded steps need to be retained as an action or as steps within the test case where the record button was pressed would be helpful
