Could not able to Restrict the width of reference selector

I couldnot able to reduce the width of the reference selector as the content in the select list is not wrapping.provide any valuble suggentions regarding it, Thanks in Advance .

Seems like a perfect case for NOT using a drop-down but a select page instead
