Is there a possibility to add checkbox to datagrid for selecting rows specially in case of multiselect?

Did you check the widget Atlas3Extras? You can also check working demo here

This is just a way to style the datagrid rows when a selection is made and the checkbox is not based on any attribute, but I think this would give the impression that something is selected visually as you’ve mentioned.
