Grid Dropdown(from Reference) selection cleared on Close Page!

I have grid whole search fields(only the reference selectors) are cleared when i close a page which i opened via a button from this grid. Flow: Grid > Edit button(any button) > visit a new page > call close page > Back to grid > I see the dropdowns have lost their selections! Anyone noticed this? Is there an solution for this?
Grid search fields with a drop-down menu are no longer reset to their default value when navigating back to a page. The values of search fields are also preserved when the grid is nested inside a listening data view and the selection of the listen target changes. (Tickets 464102, 465778, 466509)
