Document template background image

Hi all i was wondering is it possible to set a background image for a document template? I think the best way is to use css but I’m a little lost: I don’t know how to add an image in the css and how to set a class in my template… Could you help m

If your template is PDF you can use the community commons actions OverlayPdfDocument. This way if you create one PDF which is the empty stationary you can overlay all the Mendix created pages with this page. And indeed in the appstore you will find other sollutions to do this.

Hi Vincent,
Mendix Document templates do not support a lot of styling. You can try with some CSS but you need to know that not all css rules will work see https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Archive/Web/Properly_Using_CSS_and_JavaScript_in_XHTML_Documents_

If you need to achieve more complicated styling you could try with some of the app store modules for document generation  e.g. https://appstore.home.mendix.com/link/app/114043/
