I think it would be very useful to have an extra userstory backlog status, Test or Ready for Test, or Accepted in the Sprintr environment.
A more advanced method would be that we have the ability to add an extra status or more statuses ourselves per project.
We are currently using labeling user stories, but in the user story overview an extra status would be more satisfying to see at once what the status is for a user story, instead of searching through the list to look at each label.
Perhaps labelling user stories could help you? I know this is more laborious than having a status, but i've used this before in a very satisfying way.
