How to use App from a spreadsheet like features to add additional data once app is set up

Hi, I have created my app using “App from a Spreadsheet” , which is great. Can I use additional spreadsheet to extend my current app or I need to work with excel Importer feature to achieve this which seems like lot of work. Any tip/advice will be very helpful. Thanks.
