Not able to deploy to sandbox

Created two apps with 'New app'. I deploye the first one to a Sandbox and it works fine. However, the second one can not be deployed because the 'Deploy to Sandbox' option is not active. I think I did exactly the same for both apps. Where do I go wrong and what to do?

Just a couple of minutes ago I received a notification from the MX status page stating that the free app deployment (sandbox) was currently not working. It might be that this was the cause of your troubles. The other option is that you did not make this project a team server project. In that case deploying to the cloud (free/licensed) is not possible from the modeler either.
