Classes on snippets & placeholders (in layout) dont get rendered to DOM?

anyone ever notice that when you put classes on a placeholder in a layout it doesnt get rendered in the dom?

Same thing happens with Snippets btw.

in the modeler you can place a class, but doesnt get rendered in the dom.

Same here. This is probably the reason that a project with language->dateFormat set to anything custom, gets ignored by all date-fields placeholders. Like Bart, I issues a ticket and got the exact same response.

yeah, made a ticket about this a few months ago, last update on August 27th: " I was able to reproduce the issue you described and I’ve involved our R&D team to investigate this issue. I will put this ticket to 'on hold' and update you once I have more information. ”
