we currently have a “living style guide” application where you can view example pages, and other elements.
the pages are currently just mendix pages.
and the elements are currently snippets so they can be easily identified and copy pasted.
The reason we do this is mostly because there is no easy way to view buildingblocks or example pages.
This also means that building blocks and page templates are being completely unused.
this also results in another issue, and that is that everytime we update an element or page we need to update that buildingblock or page, creating more overhead.
solution:
make buildingblocks “plugable” and work more like snippets or layouts.
make template pages visitable by the application.
