Add keyboard shortcuts on context menus

4

Most Windows software allows power users to use keyboard shortcuts as much as possible. One way this is supported is that most context menu options have a keyboard shortcut assigned to them. For instance, right clicking on a page in Firefox opens a context menu with many options underlined for easy access. If you want to quickly select an option, just press the key on your keyboard corresponding to the underlined letter in the context menu.

It would be great to have this option in Studio Pro context menus. For instance, I rarely use the ‘detach from flow’ option, because it's too slow. I always do ctrl + x followed by ctrl + v as a workaround. With context menu shortcuts, it could be as easy as right click activity + D. Below you'll find an example with some popular functions underlined.

Hey Marius, am just learning Mendix and ran into detach from flow and had similar question as you. As to why is detach from flow needed if we can cut and paste activities

Any pointers here ? As I can find documentation on most things but there's nothing out there on this anywhere, except few comments asking for disable activity.

I'm now done a rabbit hole just trying to figure out how can this exist w no documentation out there on this and what was the origin of this ?
