Being able to easily copy the name of a microflow/page
As Mendix is often applied using the Agile working method, working with Mendix often includes setting up stories and reviewing these to make sure that any implemented changes are fully checked before going live. For this, the changed microflows/pages/nanoflows (and so on) are continuously shared between the team members. It would be extremely helpful and beneficial for the team collaboration if you can easily copy a name by rightclicking the tab or object.
The option “Copy name” could be included (for example) in the drop-down when you right-click on the tab of a page/microflow/nanoflow (and so on).
Agree with this. although I would also love to have a keyboard hotkey to copy immediatly. For example ctrl + Click on Microflow name.
And that same functionality for the microflow names in the Changes tab.
Personal user scenario: I often have to copy lots of Microflow names to document my specific changes in Azure DevOps. Currently that takes me several steps:
1. Opening the changed microflow from the Changes tab
2. Selecting the microflow name in the App Explorer
3. Clicking F2 (shortcut to Rename a microflow)
4. Ctrl + C the name
5. Close the Rename pop-up again
