Display a character based on its unicode code

Hi guys I’m looking for a way to display characters based on their unicode codes. For example, I have the string variable “&#36”, and I’d like to display “$”. Do you know how to do that plz ? Thx

You could run it through the HTMLToPlainText action in the Community Commons module on the App Store. That will turn HTML into text and will decode these on the way.
