jQueryUI Datepicker and Timepicker time selection bug?

Hi, I am using the jQueryUI Datepicker and Timepicker version 1.1.0 https://appstore.home.mendix.com/link/app/106243/. They are mostly placed so that the user can change them and then either save or cancel. If a user changes the time by entering it in the display-field or using the sliders I can see the change with a break point and commit it. If the user changes the time by altering the digits in the pop-up there is only a visible change of the sliders. No change can be seen with a break point and no change is committed. Since the sliders change the user expects the time to be valid and committed. Maybe this assumption is wrong? Are there any alternatives to the jQueryUI widget? The only one I found was this https://appstore.home.mendix.com/link/app/94760/ but I am unsure how easy/UI friendly it is to select time by the minute in a dropdown. Do you have different solutions for letting a user enter a date and time? Kind regards Johan
