tabIndex does not seem to be working on mobile browsers on Firefox and Opera

I have responsive layout for a simple page with two text input fields. The tab Index puts the focus on first field like I want to on PC. However the same does not happen on a firefox or opera browser installed on a mobile handheld device with android OS.
