First select the layout where to add footer. There are widgets on top tool menu. You can add a placeholder and change its name as footer.

excuse me what if the footer needs to contain parameters, its technically impossible to use them inside a layout right?

Hi Harshad,

You can add footers as part of scroll containers within a layout. If you select a scroll container you will see different options adding/removing regions top, left, bottom, right. For a footer just select addition of bottom region and that should do the trick.
