The data grid widget automatically aligns string data left and numeric data right. Please allow a developer to control the alignment of data. Only numeric data related to size (for example, price) should be aligned to the right, but a developer cannot change or override the right alignment of numeric data. The only way a user has to control data alignment is to change numbers to strings in the domain model. This is not a viable solution for Mendix apps that have to pass data to/from other systems where the data is required to be numeric.
