When you configure a Datagrid 2 widget to be able to do multiselect, in our case using the checkboxes, object selections are lost when you use the paging buttons or search filters. Not being able to select multiple objects that may be on different pages and/or visible through multiple searches is a big missing piece of the puzzle here. This is possible in Datagrid 1, so should it in Datagrid 2.
