DataGrid 2 => multi-select persist across pages

In DataGrid 2, when using multi-select with checkboxes, selected items are not retained when the user:

• switches to a different page.

• applay search filter.

This breaks common user flows where you want to select multiple items that are spread across multiple pages or search results — such as bulk delete, assign, export, etc
