Export to excel button disabled, not supported datasource

Hi, I’m willing to add ‘Export to Excel’ functionality to data grid I have. But ‘Export to Excel’ option under ‘Add button’ is greyed out with a comment ‘Not supported by current datasource’. See the screenshot. Grid’s datasource is persisted entity from database. I find no requirements in docs regarding data grid’s datasource other than ‘Exporting items from a data grid in a Mendix application in Excel format via an Export to Excel button, is standard Mendix functionality. ’ What do I miss?

I can't access your screenshot, but please try the option Xpath as datasource.
