Are there route planning functionalities for the MapView widget?

Hello! I have been provided with some route planning tasks for my thesis and I was wondering if the MapView widget offers such functionalities. I’ve looked a bit on the App store, and I found the Google Maps widget, but my thesis is mainly using the OpenStreetMaps. Is there any link that I can follow with some examples for route planning? Thank you in advance!
