Is it possible to use an association as a name attribute in a pie chart?

Hi Everyone, I am currently making a personal expense tracker. My transactions can have certain categories, which I establised using an association with a category entity. I wanted to have a pie chart indicating out of which categories my transactions consist. However, I can only select an attribute to use. Is there any way I can use an association to make up my pie chart? I added images for some clarification: Thank you very much in advance for your response

I think it might be easier to create a non persistent object with all the data you need for the pie chart and use that as source.
