Not able to get Google Analytics widget on mendix application

Hi I have registered with Google analytics and received a Gtag code.(G-XXXXXXX) I have downloaded the google analytics widget to integrate with Mendix. As a first step have opened up the test project provided in the widget, have updated GTag Code and ran the application. when i open the application, i am not able to see any records in the real time report of Google analytics. this is the first time i am working on google analytics. Can some one please provide some insight on this.
