Bug deleting images in the latest Image carousel widget by Mendix

In the Content container of the imagecarouselwidget I added an Action button to delete the current image. This goes well for all images except for the image that is at the end of the list. If there are at least 2 images left after the delete, the image count shows for example ‘4 of 3’, which is only adjusted after clicking the left or right arrow. If there is only one image left after the delete, the count shows ‘2 of 1’ and the Content container is empty (no image and no arrow buttons available). Is this a bug or can I solve this myself?
