Some enumeration value are not shown in Drop-down list with Multi-select

we have an attribute with enumeration value A/B/C/D, the drop-down list for search field with this attribute only display value A/B/C. in the data grid, there are many record with value D. there is no issue on Test/Acceptance instance but only in Production instance. could you please advice? thanks!
