What is the current state of the pluggable widget framework

Hi, I have been building pluggable widgets for internal use(for now). I was curious to know what is planned for pluggable widgets in the near future. Is there a public timeline available for the same?

The Mendix roadmap is unfortunately only available to partners, although it is generally shown during Mendix World. It might be worth signing up for that!
